
He was born in Crowell, TX, on March 4, 1935 to Robert and Mary Solomon.
Growing up in Sanger, Texas he graduated from high school there and later served in the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard and then became a government investigator for HUD.
After retiring from HUD, Bill became head of security for the high school for the Kennedale ISD where he established a bond with the students so much that they dedicated a year book to him.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Carole Jean Coleman Solomon; brother, Bob Solomon and three very special and precious aunts.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Jeannie Sammons; a daughter, Stacy Diane Blair and Jeff Blair; son, Jeff Coleman and his fiance, Bilynda; 6 grandchildren, Justin Blair, Kiersten Blair, Cassidy Blair, Ashley Vega, Emily Coleman and Haley Coleman; and 5 great-grandchildren, Harper Grace Blair, Hadley Kate Blair, Dean Vega, Sally Ann Vega and Rose Vega.
