

Blanca Esther Garza Perez, 78, entered into eternal life October 3, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. Blanca, the oldest of three children, was born on March 8, 1943, in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. In 1953 Blanca and her family moved to Houston, Texas. She lived in Houston until 1959 when the family moved to Orange Cove, California where Blanca would spend most of her life. She worked in the fields from 14 years of age until she married and gave birth to her children Fidencio and San Juanita. Blanca later worked at a local packing house until a work-related injury left her with lifelong back pain. Although she lived in constant back pain, Blanca never gave in to her pain. She loved to crochet, she made many blankets that she gave to family and enjoyed teaching family and friends to crochet. She enjoyed doing everything with family and friends. Blanca was funny, gave great hugs, and kisses.
In 2011 Blanca moved to Salinas, California to live with her daughter San Juanita where she enjoyed spending time with her daughters family, especially with her only grandchild Hope Shalom.
Blanca made her final move to San Antonio, Texas in 2015 where she lived near her daughters family until her death.
Blanca is survived by her daughter, San Juanita Samudio, granddaughter, Hope Shalom Samudio, Her two sisters, Lilia and husband Juan Zamarripa, Aurora and husband Apolonio Rodriguez, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her son Fidencio Perez, Father Alberto Garza, Mother Elmina Garza, and her son-in-law Martin Samudio.
Funerals Services will be held at Porter Loring service on October 14, 2021, at 1:00 pm.
