She was born February 4, 1926, in Cat Spring, Texas.
Blanche worked as a secretary for over 35 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gail E. Burns and parents, Ben and Helen Batla.
Blanche is survived by daughter, Patricia Burns; sons, Robert and Gary Burns; sister, Grace Flanagan; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations are made in Blanche's name to the American Heart Association, 8415 Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78229.
