Bobbe Jack Collins, age 86, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 in San Antonio. She was born on August 14, 1929 in Yoakum, Texas to Engle B. Bomba and Pauline Skeen Bomba. She attended Thomas Jefferson High School and Trinity University. Bobbe was a member of The San Antonio Junior League, San Antonio Country Club and The Argyle.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Herman A. Bomba and wife, Lillie and Andrew J. Skeen and wife, Jodie; great-grandparents, John Franklin White and Eliza Jane Kennedy; and her husband, Neal Thomas Collins. Bobbe is survived by her sons, John Maverick Gaines and Edna and Samuel Grice Maverick Gaines and wife, Connie; grandchildren, Joshua, Andrea, Jessica and their families.
At her request, services will be private.
