Bob completed his earthly mission on September 10, 2003 in Austin, Texas, at age 63, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Those who will miss him most are: his wife of 40 years, Brigitte; son, Denny R. Asbury; daughter-in-law, Marla; and his precious grandchildren, Katelyn and Matthew, all of Corpus Christi. Their Opa will watch them from Heaven.
He is also survived by 6 sisters and 2 brothers. He served 23 years in the U.S. Army, spending many years in Germany and served in Vietnam and Korea
