She received a Chemistry degree from Incarnate Word College, and worked for the Bexar Co. Health Department. She and Humphrey "Bucko" Price met at Jefferson and married in 1947. She worked with Bucko in their home building business, doing payroll and decorating homes.

She loved the outdoors, spent weekends at the family ranch, and hunted turkey and deer. She and Bucko often travelled in their single engine plane, playing golf and seeing the U.S.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Hoppy and Sandy Price, and their children, Mason and Emma; daughter and son-in-law, Jakey and Martin Weilbacher, and their children, Katie Weilbacher and Clayton Weilbacher and his wife, Janna.
