Bonnie Ruth Rodriguez

Bonnie Ruth Gholson Rodriguez, 82, passed away Sunday, November 17th at the Vitas Hospice in San Antonio, Texas. Many thanks to their staff, Frankie Sue, Gert our strength, Beth our angel, Charlene, Paula and Kay for their compassionate care. Bonnie Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rena Gholson and siblings, Sam, Dick, Dub and Vera. She leaves behind Alex, her husband of 59 years; and daughter, Linda Nell, 52. She is also survived by her cherished Grandson, William Bedell, who brought her so much joy and laughter, his wife, Christy and her beloved great grandson, David William. She leaves behind many friends and relatives including, Debbie Wiggins, Rena Kay Oldham, Mary Ann Scott, Bud and Gracie Cowell and Hennrietta Miller. Special thanks to her niece and favorite confidant, Nell Gordon for her never-ending love and support. We thank Drs. Paul Garcia, Ciolli and Whittaker for their care and compassion. Thanks, also, to "Super Chief" Adelle and "Little Chief" Tracie at WellMed. Ruth was very helpful in her husband's Air Force career. She undertook many projects related to Air Force Missions. She greeted incoming personnel and assisted in their relocation. She was active in Air Force Wives Clubs, Brownie Scouts and gifted at sewing and needlework. She and her husband, Alex, were inseparable. Upon her passing, he said: " In all, the Good Lord is receiving an outstanding Angel and a big gain in the Lord's Kingdom. I miss you already Ruth, and I love you a whole bunch". We know that everyone who's life she touched agrees.
