Bradley Samuel Dibrell, age 22, born June 23, 1988, entered into the fullness of Eternal Life, Monday, June 20, 2011 as the result of a car accident while working a summer job in South Texas as a Petroleum Landman. Sam is well-known as the star wide receiver on the Alamo Heights High School's 2006 State Championship football team. He went on to play college football for the University of North Texas for two seasons, and then remained to finish his communications degree, with an upcoming graduation in December 2011. Above all, Sam is remembered as one of those rare human beings who lights up a room when he enters it, with magnetic charisma that draws all to him. His warmth, humor, affection, generosity, compassion and kindness made him a beloved friend to everyone he met. Sam was equally loving and giving to everyone, knowing no barriers of race, status, wealth, or prestige but seeing the goodness in all people. His outlook on life was consistently positive, always "Seizing the Day" with enthusiasm and excitement, enjoying life to the utmost each moment, and leading others to see the beauty and joy of living. Sam treated life as a grand adventure and refused to dwell on its dark or negative aspects. He knew his own mind and heart well and followed their guidance in his life decisions, never yielding to peer pressure or worldly opinion, but living fully as his own man. Sam was a joy to be around and left this earthly plane with no regrets or unfinished business because he lived each day to its fullest potential, teaching us all how to live.
