left this life on September 25th, 2021 at the age of 46. He was born
on December 21st 1974 in Charleston, SC.
He is survived by many friends and family who loved him dearly: his
beautiful wife, Jennifer White Garrison; his father, Colonel James
Edward Garrison III; his mother, Cynthia Lukehart; his stepfather, Alan
Lukehart and his step mother, Dr. Brenda Jean Daniels. Brad has
numerous siblings: Bryan Garrison, Francis Garrison, Andrea
Castleberry, John Lukehart and Leslie Burns. His beloved sister, Liz
Garrison welcomed him into heaven. Brad awaits their reunion.
To say that Brad was a free spirit is a gross understatement. Brad
lived in Oklahoma City as a child then graduated from Clark High
School in San Antonio, TX. After graduation, Brad embarked on a
series of adventures that took him all around the world. He spent a
period of time as a bicycle flower delivery driver in San Francisco, CA,
then moved to Myrtle Beach, SC, where his paternal grandparents
lived. There, Brad worked as a lifeguard for two summers. Brad loved
the sea, so it was no surprise when he enlisted in the United States
Coast Guard in November of 1996. He attended basic training in Cape
May, New Jersey where he was the honor graduate of his class and
received numerous awards for individual achievement. He was posted
in Honolulu, Hawaii, San Francisco, Alameda, CA and twice in Key
West, FL.
Bradley found his heart in Key West. There were many times that he
traveled away from Key West, but the island and his friends always
drew him back. He worked there as a licensed massage therapist,
dive master, and bartender. He met his wife, Jennifer, in Key West
and they were married in 2014. He had a love for animals, fostered
numerous dogs, and helped find their forever homes. His Key West
friends will always love him as he had a way of making everyone feel
like family. His passing left a void in the hearts of all who knew him.
Bradley Lyle would always make you smile.
