She was born June 24, 1950 to the late Pearl and Bonnie Hand in LaFayette, AL. She graduated from Samford University in Birmingham where she majored in French.
After teaching for several years, she devoted her life to raising her children. She and her husband moved to Austin in 1978 and in 1981, moved to San Antonio.
Bronwyn loved traveling, reading, tending her plants, and most of all playing with her grandson, Jack.
She was a loving, caring friend to many and will be dearly missed.
Bronwyn is survived by her husband of 32 years, Walter C. "Phil" Phillips, III; daughters Brooke Rick Miller and Shannon Phillips; son, Seth Lacey Phillips; grandson, Jack Miller; brother Michael Charline Hand; and other extended family.
