M/SGT Bruce Richard Marquardt, Ret. U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service, was born on August 19, 1934 and went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2011 at the age of 77. He is preceded in death by his wife ,Nina Marquardt. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Lee and Jimmie Sue Marquardt; his daughter and son-in-law, Karen M. and Tim R. Calderon ; grandchildren, Jason Calderon, Jacob Calderon, Isaac Marquardt, and Sari Marquardt; longtime companion Min Carney. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
