

Bryan grew up in Goldendale, WA, and moved to Puyallup, WA, when he was in Junior High. He graduated from Rogers High School. After High School, he began working for Sierra Construction as a carpenter for 23 years. In 2021, he and his wife moved to San Antonio, and he began working for Leonard Contracting as a superintendent until his passing. Bryan loved living in San Antonio. He enjoyed concerts, festivals and target shooting at the gun range.
Bryan was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished family member whose kindness, loyalty, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He shared 15 loving years of marriage with his wife, Dana Hanson, and took great pride in his children. His family was the center of his life, and he was always happiest when surrounded by those he loved.
Bryan was preceded in death by his mother, Glenys Hanson.
He is survived by his wife, Dana Hanson; his daughter, Haley Hanson; his stepdaughters, Zoey Surma and Hailey Surma; his father, Jonathan Hanson; his brother and sister and many extended family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary North. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 a.m., at Porter Loring Mortuary North, located at 2102 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas 78232.
Bryan’s memory will live on through the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the legacy of devotion he leaves with his family.
