Carl Edward Scholes

Carl Edward Scholes, age 59, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on January 4, 1965, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to his parents June Lane Marie Landry and Alvin Ellis Scholes.

Carl was a retired U. S. Air Force veteran after 20 years of service. He was best known for his infectious joy and endless humor. Carl would light up any room, and he touched many lives. After travelling all over the United States as a technical sergeant in the Air Force and an IT specialist with electronic medical record companies, he settled down in San Antonio with his beloved wife where they built their life together. Carl enjoyed golfing, spending time with family, and embarking on as many cruises as he could fit in a year.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin (Pete) Scholes, and his stepson, Jacob Kluz. Carl is survived by his loving wife, Amber Scholes; his children, Christina Burton, Charity Tucei, Faith Kapp, Hope Scholes and Noah Scholes; stepchildren, Danielle Kluz, Brandice Jimenez, Whitney Brown and Zachary Kluz as well as many other extended family members and friends.
