He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, B.C. and Vera Moseley, and brother Thomas Moseley. He is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn of 56 years; daughters and sons-in-law Robin and Bob Boyd of Bulverde, TX, Lori and Clint Lewis of Lansing, MI; grandsons Chris and Mike Boyd of San Antonio; brother Gary Moseley of Bulverde, TX; and numerous nephews and nieces.
A quiet, humble man who was loved by his extended family and respected by all who knew him, Carleton was always available to anyone needing his advice or help in any way, and was a 45-year member of Concordia Lutheran Church. A graduate of Jefferson H.S., he earned a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M. After 4 years as a plant manager for a large Chemical Corporation and later in the air conditioning manufacturing business, he returned to San Antonio and was employed by Kelly AFB, where he retired in 1985 as a supervisor in the Engine Div.
Carleton was typical of the millions of young men now known as "the Greatest Generation," growing up during the Great Depression, then joining the Marines and sent off to fight in places halfway around the world and, hopefully, to return and start families.
Memorial contributions may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church, 16801 Huebner, San Antonio, TX 78258, or to your home church of choice.
