Carmella Rosevear, age 84, recently of Largo, Florida passed away on Wednesday June 10, 2020 in Spring Branch, Texas. Carmella was born July 27, 1935 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to Josephine Mignano and Ernest Ginoble.
Carmella was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother; she immensely enjoyed the time she spent with family. As a young wife, she traveled to Germany with her husband William “Bill” Rosevear while he was serving in the US Army.
She enjoyed her years living in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she traveled with her husband to many intriguing destinations like Columbia, the Virgin Islands, and Santo Domingo. During her 40-year marriage, she lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Michigan, Puerto Rico, St Louis, Baton Rouge, Georgia and finally her favorite – the Clearwater/Largo Florida area. She loved warm weather and never wanted to leave. In her final months, she moved to Spring Branch TX to be with her daughter and her family.
Carmella loved to cook authentic Italian food for her family. Carmella also loved to dance; she was a water aerobics instructor for many years and had a passion for teaching senior citizens to exercise in the pool.
She loved going all out for the Holidays; Christmas, 4th of July, and Easter, and loved dressing up at Halloween, handing out candy to the neighborhood kids every year. Being a Grandmother was her most joyous job, always there for Birthdays, Graduations and all milestones & holidays. Carmella would get down on the ground and play with her grandsons, loving them deeply from the time they were born.
She became well known for wearing colorful Cowboy hats to the VFW dances; she had one to coordinate for every outfit! Additionally, she was always a regular at Catholic Mass on Sunday.
Carmella is survived by; daughter Diane Frontman (Ken); and daughter Sandra Stief (Jeffrey); sister Mafalda Scoppa, sister Dolores Palmer, brother Dominic Ginoble, brother Albert Ginoble and brother Joseph Ginoble; grandson’s Michael Stief, Daniel Frontman, William Frontman and as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Carmella was preceded in death by her husband, William Rosevear; father Ernest Ginoble and mother Josephine Mignano; sister Mary Mastellar; sister Helen Claubaugh and sister Theresa Clees.
She will be missed by our family and all the lives she touched over her 84 years. Carmella will rest in the cemetery of her daughters Catholic Church in Spring Branch. The family will have a celebration of life at a future time.
