Carmen Lara Castillo

On January 1, 1939, she became the 2nd of 14 children born to Jose and Justina (Davila) Lara in San Antonio, TX.

She is survived by her 7 children: Frank, Irma Gonzales, Phillip, Ralph, Jeanne Breeding, Jerry and Gilbert and by 9 of her beloved brothers and sisters: Jose, Andrea, Gilberto, Juan, Josie Doughtery, Rosa Martinez, Mary Lou Borjanie, Robert and Rudy. Four of them have preceded her to heaven's heights along with her husband, Anastacio "Chico" Castillo. She dearly loved her 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren along with numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be as follows: Saturday, December 29th at Porter Loring on McCullough from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM; Sunday, December 30th from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Porter Loring on McCullough followed by visitation at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 3107 N. St. Mary's at 6:00 P.M.
