Carmen S. Cuellar, age 85, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on April 23, 1930 in Mexico to Martin and Leono Salazar. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers & sisters, Loreto, Luis, Trinidad, Socorro, Salvador, Guadalupe; and son-in-law, Pablo.
Carmen is survived by her loving husband, Nicolas Cuellar; children, Graciela, Maria Elena (William), Maria Del Carmen (Armando), Sylvia Laura, Leonor Concepcion, Nicolas, and Alejandro; grand-children, Valarie (Robert), Carmen, Laura (John), Fidel (Jennifer), and Paul; and great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Sierra, John, and Dorian.
Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2016 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 6680 Crestway Rd., with Rev. Octavio A. Muguerza celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
