In the presence of God and his choir of Angels, Carmen "Amparo" De La Rosa ended her multiple battles peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on October 29, 2005.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Luciano De La Rosa; brother, Jose Mendiola Jr.; sister, Aurora Valero and husband Enrique; and her dear friend Manual Perez.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Wright and husband, Jim, Jennifer Varney and husband, Jerry, son, Martin De La Rosa and wife, Cathy; grandsons, Chris De La Rosa and wife, Catherine, Jeff Cox and wife, Jennifer, Stephen, Wesley and Chriton; granddaughter, Gwynnaleesa De La Rosa; loving sister, Amelia Mendiola; and her many nieces, nephews and their families
