She is survived by her daughters Diane Luton and husband Bob, Colleen Douglas and husband Geoff, Laura Vijil and husband Porfi, all of San Antonio, Noreen Covey and husband Michael of Houston and brother, Kenneth M. Griffin of Stamford, CT.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julia and Vincent Griffin, her brother Vincent, husband Francis X. Foley and son Frank.
Carol is also survived by her 6 grandchildren Ryan, Erin, Carson, Katherine, Carleigh and Joshua.
Our mom was a champion swimmer and captain of her high school basketball team. She was proud to be a registered nurse and worked in hospitals and doctors' offices for over 30 years.
Once retired, she spent her time volunteering for hospitals, hospice and Elf Louise.
Her greatest love was spending time with her 6 grandchildren.

The funeral service will take place at Community Bible Church on March 2, 2009, at 11am, 2477 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, Texas 78232.
