She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and friend to all. Her courage during the last quarter of her life was an inspiration to anyone who spent time with her.
During her 35-year marriage, she was an active volunteer in both charity and social organizations and was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.
Daughter, Roberta Carol Sims; father, Cecil H Callihan; and mother, Alice I Callihan, preceded her in death.
Survived by: husband, Robert Sims; son, David Sims; sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Robert Adkins; niece Audrey Adkins and sons Trevor and Jack; niece Cindy Adkins; niece and husband Alicia and Matthew Deacon and children Jacob and Rebecca.
