Carolyn Anne Bruder

Carolyn Anne Bruder, age 80, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2021. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 6, 1940. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. She retired from NEISD after 20 plus years of services.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years Ben Bruder; son David Bruder, daughter Claudia Jupe (Darren), grandson Cody Bruder, niece Carolyn Stobaugh, one great niece, Amanda Shipman, three great-great nieces, Makenzie Griffin, Britlee Griffin, Madalee Shipman and one great-great nephew, William Zachary Shipman, III and numerous cousins.

The visitation will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 12 noon. Graveside services will be held on April 1, 2021 at 2:15 p.m. at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (Shelter #2).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lord of Life Lutheran Church in San Antonio, Texas.
