Being around Carol was like getting a warm hug. She was peaceful and smiling and calm and funny and motherly and a friend all at once. What a wonderful legacy she leaves to her family... Carol, you will be so, so missed!

My prayers and thoughts go out to the Sanchez family. I have known Mrs. Sanchez since I was a little girl. I have never known anybody as caring as her. She was a beautiful lady and she will be greatly missed.

Richard and I will miss your mom and we want you to know that we loved her very very much. I feel very honored to have known her and that when i was growing up that she was a cool Aunt. Richard loves this family and says that your family reminds him of his family. That you all are so carihng and loving people. Uncle Raymond and Randy she will always be with you. Take care of each other and keep her spirit with you all.

My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go with the Sanchez family as they mourn the loss of Carolyn. Her son Randy has been a great friend and assisted me in the past year with my home financing. I had the occasion to meet Mrs. Sanchez many times when I would travel to Randy's office to conduct business. She was a kind and warm person who always had a wonderful smile that helped one feel at home. To Randy and Family: My sister Irma Castillo called me in Weslaco about Carolyn's death. I logged onto the website to see the obitiuary. Carolyn looks beautiful in her picture, just as we remember her. I'm glad we got to see her a couple of years ago at a family function. She certainly was a vibrant woman, and I especially remember her laughter and zest for life. She was always happy to see everyone. It is difficult to lose loved ones, and I know you loved her dearly and will miss her. Grief is a sign of love, and I know that you all loved each other, and that Carolyn was proud of all her family. She had a big heart. May the peace of God be with her, and may God grant you comfort in this difficult time. I know that you are thankful for having shared life together, and for having had a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. May her love, faith, and good works continue on, through you.
