Carolyn Darlene Sharpe

Carolyn Darlene Sharpe, passed away on June 25, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Mike and Dora Mae Blackburn. Carolyn is the second youngest of nine siblings. She and her husband Brad, spent the early part of their marriage throughout Europe before settling in San Antonio, Texas. Carolyn was a beloved teacher’s assistant at Howard Early Childhood Center for over 20 years where she touched the lives of many kids. She was a devout member of First Presbyterian Church. Carolyn had a servant’s heart and loved taking care of others. She enjoyed cooking, reading, walking and traveling to Italy and the Texas Coast. Above everything else, Carolyn’s passion was serving her family. She rarely missed an opportunity to be with her grandchildren and enjoyed cheering them on in all their endeavors. Carolyn is survived by her husband Brad Sharpe, Sr.; her sons Brad Sharpe, Jr. (Taryn) and Adam Sharpe (Sara); her beloved grandchildren Gage Bradley Sharpe, Clara Neely Sharpe, Sarita Mae Sharpe, Anna Dorothy Sharpe, and Kline Livingston Sharpe; and numerous siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. She will be missed dearly.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 404 N. Alamo Street. Rev. Mitchell Moore will officiate.
