

Carolyn’s body and spirit separated on August 27, 2015, at age 82. The first of four girls, she was born on November 24, 1932 to Fritz and Callie Kral who lived on a farm in La Pryor, Texas.
After high school, Carolyn worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She married Jack Talbot a teacher from Uvalde in 1957. In 1976, Carolyn transferred to San Antonio and continued to work until retirement in 1989.
Carolyn enjoyed cooking, sewing, and being with her grandsons. She made clothing, embroidery, curtains, crafts, quilts, and other creative items. Her delicious cooking was enjoyed by many—especially cakes, cookies, pies, and desserts.
Preceded in death by parents, and sister Marilyn Harbert, she is survived by husband, Jack, daughter Deborah and husband Bill Wedeman, two grandsons, Craig and wife Courtni, and Mark Wedeman. Also two sisters, Katherine Feuerbacher and husband Charles, Karen Knight and husband Bill, and brother-in-law Jake Harbert, and many nieces and nephews.
Carolyn, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and long time member of the Church of Christ, is dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be Friday, September 4th from 6 - 8 p.m. and funeral services Saturday, September 5th, 10 a.m., both at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera road. Internment held be at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Uvalde, TX.
