Cecelia A. Garcia, age 68, of San Antonio passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. She was born to Eugene L. and Annie Esparza Perales on February 19, 1947 in San Antonio. Cecelia met Jesus H. Garcia in 1971 after the Vietnam War and they were married on Feb 19, 1977.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Jesus Garcia; children, Gene (Lanette), Dean (Rosalba), Greg Garcia (Selina), Daniel (Lidia) , Geri and David Coronado (Rachelle); 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene E. Perales; sisters, Diane Jenkins and Gloria Perales Martinez; dogs, Chica, Rollie and Paris.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary on McCullough Ave. Mass will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Gerard's Catholic Church, 1617 Iowa Street, San Antonio, TX 78203.
Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
