Cecelia A. Gibson passed away at the age of 84. She was born Oct. 16, 1930 in San Antonio, TX to Sherman & Beulah Arch, the second of six children. She attended school in San Antonio and Galveston and was a member of St. Philips Episcopal Church serving for many years on the Alter Guild, Choir and many other capacities. She always made time for others and was a loyal friend.
Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon; daughter, Lois Annette Moore; sister, Dorothy Swain; brothers, Sherman Arch Jr. and Lloyd Arch Sr.; and granddaughter, Chloe Harrison.
She is survived by her son, Hulet James Harrison & wife Rhonda; daughter, Ondrie Rogers; grandchildren, Christian and Christopher Harrison; sisters, Carolyn Felton and Helen Govan; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives.
The Memorial Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, 1310 Pecan Valley Dr., San Antonio, TX 78220. Burial will at a later date at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Philip’s Episcopal Church (Memorial Fund).
