She graduated from Easton Washington State University in 1965. Cecilia began her teaching in 1966 and started with Northeast Independent School District in 1972. She then went on to receive her Masters Degree in 1978 from St. Mary's University.
Cecilia was a Charter Licensed Counselor for 20 years at the Hidden Forest Elementary School.
Her expertise and nurturing was working with children and families with special needs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Brown and Thelma Lois Baker.
She is survived by her husband, Don; son, Stephen C.B. Thompson and his wife, Bettina; grandchildren, Travor C.B. Thompson and Tatum M. Thompson; sister, Mary Clay Reinhardt; and niece, Cece Reinhardt.
Pallbearers: Scott Mokry, Michael Vickers, Bradford Palmer Omar Rodriguez, Oscar Rodriguez and Jack Holbrook.
