Celeste was born in San Antonio to Nuel & Elizabeth Griffith on October 5, 1937. She went to school in San Antonio and married Kerry Charlton on February 2, 1967 in Dallas, Texas. She loved singing, gardening, and was a lifelong artist. She loved all things that were beautiful. Celeste was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her nickname being “Darlin” to all. Her creativity and talent will be remembered forever over future Easter Egg Hunts, Valentine’s Day tea parties and other family traditions that she began and cherished.
