Celia Pacheco Ahumada

Celia P. Ahumada, born August 9, 1923 in Floresville, Texas, passed away on September 20, 2017 at the age of 94. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alejandro and Ester Pacheco; husband, Luciano Ahumada, daughter, Celia Giron (husband Rudy, deceased), and her son, Luciano Jr (loving wife Rosemary). She is survived by her children, Margaret Askins (Terry) and William Ahumada (Cindy); 8 grandchildren, Yvonne Giron Canalez (Edward), Monique Giron Salazar, Justin A. Shively (Nicole), Roseann, Christopher Ahumada; Vanessa Ahumada Martinez (Roberto), Erica Ahumada Montesdeoca (Patrick), Sara Ahumada Montesdeoca (Jacob), 9 great grandchildren: Heather Garcia, Alexandra, Sabrina, Rudy Salazar, Genesis, Roslyn Ahumada, Roberto Martinez Jr., Vivianna, Sebastian Martinez; and 4 great grandchild, Eli Rudy Sanchez, Jazmyn and Jayson Montesdeoca, and Jacob Jr. Montesdeoca. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Chapel from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 9:00 am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
