Chad Haney

Chadrick Owen Haney, Age 4, went to be with the good Lord on June 9, 2012. He was born on July 5, 2007 in San Antonio TX. Chad was a miracle that was given to us for a short period of time, but taught us all long lessons every day. He was the greatest gift from God and taught us to celebrate life; to love life and that our problems never really seemed that big. We were told he would never smile – yet he did. We were told he would never eat – yet he did. We were told he would never laugh – yet he laughed. Chad was a fighter and was the strongest we will ever know, he fought a hard fight – he fought it well. Chad did not lose his fight; he has won and now walks the golden road of Heaven holding the hand of the Lord in his right and his great gramma Mary in his left. We will miss him greatly.

Chad is survived by his loving father, Kyle Haney; grandmother (Amma), Kathy Nelson; grandfather, Brad Nelson; stepmother, Mari Almendarez; caregiver Cindy Bevins; aunt, Brienna and Roberto Fraire; uncle, Tristain Nelson; cousin Basillio Fraire; aunt Dolores Guzman, aunt Blanca Loya, aunt Sylvia Maule, Uncle Eric Maule, Jimmy Guzman and great grandmother Bettye Nelson.

Visitation will be 5-8pm, Friday, June 15, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be 10am, Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
