Chang Slusarski

Chang Slusarski entered into rest Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at the age of 70. Everyone loved Chang for her kindness, compassion, and willingness to help all who needed it. Her fierce love, unmatched commitment, and loyalty to family and friends will be greatly missed and celebrated in our memories forever.

She worked at the Kelly and Lackland AFB Commissaries for almost 30 years where she developed many close friendships to co-workers, staff, management, and customers alike.

Chang was a loving wife and devoted mother. She is survived by her husband of nearly 44 years, Peter Slusarski; her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jason Davis, her grandchildren Madison, Morgan, and Parker; as well as numerous family members in Korea.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Brooke Army Medical Center as well as the wonderful, caring staff of Embrace Hospice. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 6:00 PM followed by a Service at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas. Interment will be Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 9:30 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
