Charles (Chuck) Arthur Henne II, a proud decorated veteran of the Vietnam war, passed away October 19, 2024. He was predeceased by his wife Linda (Glessner), and parents Charles A. Henne Sr. and Jule (Igner). He was born in 1946 in Fort Knox, KY, and attended high school in Germany, earning a B.A. with Honors in History from The Citadel Military College. At the age of 23, Chuck enlisted in the Army, following in the footsteps of his father, also an Army officer. Chuck valued his military service highly and attained the rank of Captain. As part of this service, Chuck was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. His friends and loved ones will remember his dedication to hard work and his appreciation for Italian renaissance art and romance languages. A service honoring the life of Chuck will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a date to be determined.
