Chuck was born in San Antonio, Texas and graduated from Winston Churchill High School in 1976. He was a professional bass guitarist and went on to play music with local and regional bands though his early twenties.
Later, Chuck went on to marry and start his family. Once his family came, Chuck found his next calling in coaching youth sports in a renewed love for football and baseball. After years of coaching through Little League and Pop Warner, he was forced to hand his kids off to the coaches at Madison High School. Although he was reluctant to relinquish the reins, he soon became an avid Madison fan spending many fall nights and spring days watching his kids play football and baseball.
After the kids graduated from Trinity University, Chuck was able to indulge in his favorite past time of fishing. In the final years of his life, he spent his time either at the coast fishing, barbeques with family or pursuing the never ending quest for a perfect lawn.
Chuck was a devoted husband, selfless father and loving son. He will be sorely missed.
