'Daddy, 
Today makes three months since you left this world to your new peaceful home. I miss you dearly. I miss the laughter, the hugs, you listening to me go on and on about things. I miss my "hero"! Daddy, I will see you again one day. Until then, kiss mom for me and give her a big hug, tell Chucky that I think of him often. Missing you all so very, very much.......and continuing to love you all and the memories we made.'

'Dad, Mom and Chuckie, 
 Our first Christmas without the three of you with us, physically. Yes, you were with us in our hearts, as always, but we missed you so very, very much. It's almost as though we were lost this Christmas. 
 They say it gets easier as time goes on, but so far that is not true for me. I miss all of you with every ounce of my being. 
 Keep an eye on us down here, and we will keep moving forward and loving all of you. 
 Merry Christmas and Dad, you got the "gold" box this year!!!

'My Daddy, My Hero 
When you look up daddy's girl in the dictionary, you will still see my picture. That is because no one has ever had a daddy like I did. You were my hero and will always be. I miss you so much, it is hard to believe that you are no longer here with us. But I know where you are, and I know you are no longer in pain or having difficulties. One of the last things I asked you was to allow me to be with you when you passed, and you did just that. You allowed me to be with you for almost two months, and let me hover over you, 24hrs a day for the last two weeks of your life. I was with you when you took your last breath and I saw Mom and Chuckie, with their arms open, and you moving into them, smiles all around. You are happy, once again and in the place you so wanted to be. I hope Mom really didn't make you meatloaf....hahahaha Thank you for being a wonderful father, daddy, Pop, Papa and Pop's!!! You were loved by all and will be so very, very missed. I will see you , Mom and Chuckie again one day.....but it will be a "long" time....I still have way to much to do here!!! I love you daddy, I thank you for all you gave, all you taught, and what you continue to be to many of us. We will always have such amazing memories, and we thank you for them. And I thank you for sharing you wonderful sense of humor with me and the love of fishing and giving to others. I love you daddy, and I miss you.

'Cindy, I am so very sorry for your loss. It was so sad to hear of your dad's passing. You and your family are in my prayers. I thank God that Hospice assisted your dad and your family. They were very helpful to us during my mother's illness. I extend to you my deepest sympathy. Your family and mine were more like family than neighbors and we will never forget them and their kindness. If there is anything that we can do, now or later, please let us know. 'I am so sorry for your added loss. Like I have said before, your family coming over for fresh tamales on Christmas Eve and your family inviting us over for Easter Sunday have given my family some of the most wonderful memories. I am sorry that our families lost touch once our fathers retired. Uncle Charlie will always be remembered as a kind and gentle person and great friend to my Dad. 'Cindy, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. It was so nice having such loving and caring neighbors for all those years. Mr. and Mrs. Perez were always so good to my parentsRaul and Stella and us kids as well-even my children got to enjoy them. At halloween your mom always had candy and balloons set aside for my kids and when we left she always said "take care sweetheart, I love you". Thank you and your family for everything. 'My father, Carlos Perez, worked with your dad at Beacon Hill Post Office many years ago. Our parents socialized during the late '60s and I remember them always having a fun time together. My mother passed away a little over a month ago so I know how hard it is for you during this very difficult time. My father was very sad to hear of your dad's passing and said he was very sorry he lost touch with him over the years. My heart goes out to you and your family. Please know you are in our prayers.
