Charles R. Schmidt, age 75, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012 in San Antonio. He was born on September 2, 1937 in Windsor, CO to parents, Pete and Amalia Schmidt. Charles served his country from 1958-1962 in the U.S. Marine Corp. Charles is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty A. Schmidt; daughter, Stacey A. Schmidt, M.D.; son, Richard M. Schmidt and wife, Ginger; 2 grandsons, Dalton James and Derian Luke Schmidt; sister, Rosie Brunz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
