Chuck was born and raised in Oklahoma and was a proud member of the Cherokee nation.
While his family and friends are shocked by his death, they are thankful for his life. Chuck was a good man who spent his early mornings reading his bible and singing praise songs while preparing for his day. He spent the last 30 plus years in the automobile industry. He loved helping people find the right vehicle to fit their needs and even with all the technology in 2022, Chuck loved nothing more than “sealing the deal” with a firm handshake. Chuck trusted in GOD and left the things that he could not control in GODs hands. He loved family time and family dinners. Being in the auto industry can sometimes make family time hard to come by so he had an extra appreciation for it. He worked long days and would sometimes come home tired but always found the energy to have “light saber” battles and play WWE with his beloved 6yr old grandson in the backyard.
He had an uncanny ability to make you feel appreciated, and you never had to wonder if you were loved or appreciated by him because he told you every time he could. He was always the “coolest” man in the room- you could’ve asked him, and he would’ve told ya.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Eugene Taylor and Wanda Paula Taylor and by his brother, Richard Taylor. Richard is survived by his wife, Joan.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Sara Taylor; his sons, Robert Rodriguez and his wife Michelle, Jose Rodriguez, Ryan Taylor, Bradley Taylor; and grandson Joe Rodriguez; his brothers, Mike Taylor and wife Jeanette, Mark Taylor and wife Nancy; sister, Wendy Gregory; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may pay their respects at Porter Loring North, 2102 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio Texas on Monday, December 5th, 2022, from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
A Celebration of Life service will begin at 5:30pm.
Chucks wishes were to be laid to rest in Oklahoma, his ashes will be interred at a later date.
