Precious, precious light of these lives
Sweet, precious glow in these hearts
We see you now, winged and soaring
Hand in hand, with your angel love
Our phenomenally brilliant Mother left us today,
April 2, 2014, at the age of 79, to be with our Father,
Richard Moore, in heaven. As much as she longed
to see his sweet face again, she fought numerous
physical battles to remain here with her
children and friends, knowing full well that her
belief in Jesus and the promise of a life eternal
would find her ultimately in his arms again.
From your children, Mom- this is not goodbye.
We are extensions of you and we will live our
lives to honor your great example until we all
meet again on the Moore family “cloud of forever.”
"Sandy" is survived by Joe, Petra, Cynthia, Marc, Max,
Deborah, Tom, Diana, Jacob, Adam, Amy, Tommi, Morgan,
Jake Jr., Linda, Alfredo, Lulu, Michael, Mable, sisters Anne,
Peggy, Theresa, Betty, and Agnes, best friend
Lou, Rocky, Caroline, Maryanne, Mike Farrell, and the scores
of people she touched, and those who touched her.
Amazing what a smile and a giggle can do in the blink of
an eye. She did that regularly.
Our gratitude goes out to her amazing care team of recent years who all
PERSONALLY, professionally, and with great conviction took on
her fight to live the extra day: Dr. Pete Leinonen, Dr. Jessie Sherratt,
Dr. Susan Cooper, Dr.’s Poirier, Duffy, Proppers, Arthurs, Wagers,
Callahan, Henderson, and Nayar, as well as Susie, Audrey, and Barbara Ellis.
These people are the “stuff that great caregivers are made of.”
Our family is grateful. Be proud of what you personally do. It makes a difference- in the patient’s life, and the lives of those who love them.
Charlotte Moore will be laid to rest by her husband after a private service at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
