
Charlotte Ruth Kemper Nations beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend, teacher, and dedicated Christian went into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 30, 2002. Charlotte Nations was born on December 24, 1935 in Youngstown, Ohio. She attended school in the Alamo Heights School District of San Antonio and attended college at Baylor University in Waco where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education in 1958. Charlotte and Swanzy Nations were married on August of 1958 in the Wilson Chapel of San Antonio's First Baptist Church and together they diligently assumed their careers and raised a fine family. Charlotte and Swanzy shared their lives with one another for 44 years. Charlotte taught in the San Antonio Independent School district for some 30 years as a Middle School teacher. She was completely dedicated to her students that resulted in many lifetime relationships that were of great importance to her. In additon to her numerous other responsibilities and interests, Charlotte was totally devoted to her Christian faith. This was exemplified throughout the years by her family's enthusiastic participation in numerous services and activities of both the First Baptist Church and Manor Baptist Church. Charlotte's love and support of her husband and family were reflected in everything she did throughout her life. The amount of energy and effort that she expended to meet their needs were readily apparent to all of those who knew her. Charlotte Nations' warm and caring spirit will be greatly missed by her survivors which include her loving husband Swanzy; her devoted sons and their wives, Neal and Heather and Jonathan and Daphne ; as well as her grandchildren, Nicole, Reece, Andrew, William, Lydia and Lauren. She is also survived by a twin sister, Shirley Mabry PhD of Schertz.
