She was a fighter and warrior full of life. After battling different health issues and overcoming them, Cherry Rose lost her final battle with covid-19 when our Lord gave her wings to fly home.
She loved reading, writing, walking, nature, and inspired many different people through her friendship and her love for writing poems. Cherry’s laugh was contagious. She was outgoing and made you feel an instant connection. She had a love for coffee, caramel macchiato was her favorite.
Cherry Rose always wished for good for everyone. Her biggest passion was her grandchildren, Isaiah Delgado, Madison Hilt, Ariana Hilt, Roger Delgado, Addilyn Delgado, and Joe Anthony Matamoros.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Cheryl J. Delgado. Cherry Rose is survived by her mother, Elena Rooks; daughter Cheryl J. Delgado; son Roger M. Delgado; brothers Victor Martin del Campo & Louis Farias; sisters Rita Rodriguez & Veronica Ruffridge; nieces, nephews and many family members in Colorado and Texas.
Her daughter leaves you with a poem written and published by Cherry Rose:
Dreaming of whispered hopes,
"you can be seen without being seen and felt even when you try to hide or your spirit lights the warrants surrounding me you pull me underneath your canning me a blanketed star is leading the way onto path I am meant to be even when I've lost within the realm of my dreams you speak quietly and silently to my mind a whisper I hear your Echoes calling out to me awaking me to reality.”
She is missed immensely and is deeply loved.
