Christa M. Espach

Christa Margarete Espach died Sunday, May 19, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. Christa was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 28, 1933 to Johanna and Heinrich Riemer. Christa graduated from Brackenridge High School and Durhum Business College. She married Russell Espach in 1958. She was a life long member of the Beethoven Dammencor and the Sons of Hermann, Louise Schuetze Lodge. Christa resided at the Los Patios Retirement Center in San Antonio for the last 4 and one-half years.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Johanna and Heinrich Riemer and her husband Russell Espach. Christa is survived by her brother Henry Riemer Jr. and his wife Ann; two nieces Kim Hall and her husband Carl of Rockport, Texas, and Cindy Riemer of Las Colinas, Texas; and a nephew Troy Riemer, his wife Tammie and great-nephew Wilson of Flower Mound, Texas. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Los Patios Assisted Living Center for the love, care and support given to our sister, aunt and friend.

The visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 11:00AM followed immediately by the funeral service at 12:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy.
