Christian Enrique Trevino entered into eternal peace at the tender age of 25. He was born in Del Rio, Texas where he was raised by his loving mother, Ivonne Trevino. Christian was loved by his family, friends and all those he shared time with. He was an avid learner and writer, keeping journals and always seeking new information about this world that he valued. He enjoyed studying different languages including Spanish, Chinese and Russian. He was a musician and played the guitar and the piano. In his journal, Christian wrote that singing was breathing for the soul. He enjoyed going to concerts and music festivals, hiking, traveling and coffee shops. He loved the arts, painting and reading. Christian had a great sense of humor and was witty, smart, wise beyond his years and was often described as an old soul. He was kind and humble and will be remembered as someone who loved and accepted everyone. He encouraged anyone he knew to see the value and beauty in themselves.
We are comforted knowing Christian will be embraced by the loving arms of those who preceded him in death, his great-grandfather, Mario Trevino; grandmother, Diamantina (Manti) Polvere; and uncle, David Polvere. Those who will continue to carry his light are his mother, Ivonne Trevino and fiancé, Russell Stidham of Del Rio, TX; his father, Ronnie Trevino and wife Sofia; siblings, Mariana, Enzo, Ian and Luca of San Antonio, TX; great grandmother, Diamantina (Diama) Trevino of Del Rio, TX; grandparents, Ted and Janie Soto of Del Rio, TX; aunt, Sonia Lopez; aunt, Lala Mallen and husband Jaime; nephew, Joaquin; uncle, Ted Soto and his fiancé, Karla Ybarra all of San Antonio, TX; uncle, Mario Trevino and wife Aura Marina of Del Rio, TX; uncle, Jesus Trevino of Brazil, IN; uncle, Carlos Trevino and wife Michelle of Spencer, IN; aunt, Corina Coleman and husband Billy of Hondo, TX; aunt, Angelina Polvere and her partner Tyrell Tillman of Lake City, FL; and uncle, Anthony Polvere of Lake City, FL.
Christian now continues onto the most magnificent journey in the heavens; free of worldly hardships. We will smile when we remember him knowing he is watching over us until we meet again.
In reflection of Christian’s spirit and personality we ask everyone to dress in colorful attire.
