Christine Kay Harrison Barncord

She grew up in Victoria,TX. and graduated from Nazareth Academy '54 then went on to graduate from Sacred Heart Dominican College in Houston,Tx. with a B.S. in nursing '58. She worked in VA Hospitals in Houston; Boston, MA; Albuquerque, NM; Amarillo and retired as the Director of Nursing, (Chief Nurse), from the VA in El Paso, Texas. Kay and Ed moved to San Antonio about 22 yrs ago.

Kay was preceded in death by, her husband, Edward Barncord; parents; step-son, Edward Barncord, Jr.; sister, Sue Greive, sister-in-law Mildred Harrison and brother-in-law Lee Payne and nephew Jimmy Greive.

Kay is survived by her brothers, Albert W. Harrison, Jr., James L. Harrison (Gladys); sisters, Jean Payne, Nancy Albrecht (Rawley), and Gail Anderson (George); bro-in-law Bernie Greive and her step-daughters, Karen Stevens and Debbie Shane. Loving nieces, Pam Bena, Judy De Los Santos, Donna King, Cyndy Gubbs, Janice Harrison and Sharon Salicos. Nephews and her Pallbearers Craig Greive, Ronnie Payne, David & Richard Harrison, John Harrison, Kevin, Ken, Kyle & Keith Albrecht and Chad Heiman; and many very dear friends.

The family wishes to thank all her caregivers in the past years and especially her doctors and staff whom she dearly loves as her family.
