Christine Marie Lee

As a child, Christie moved frequently and was taught many skills by several teachers. She delighted in reading her Harry Potter books! Thirty-one years ago, Christie found her home at The Brookwood Community. She dearly loved her house-parents and house-mates. She enjoyed the workshop, biking, swimming as well as movies and field trips.

Christine is preceded in death by her father, Maj. William "Bill" Lee; paternal grandparents, H.B. and Goldia Lee; maternal grandparents, Foster and Helen Steinbeck; and step-grandfather, Tom Rullman.

She is survived by her mother, Louise and step-father, Loren Peters (San Antonio); sister, Linda Lee Hughes and nephew, Carson Hughes (The Woodlands); step-sister, Lenore Wyrick, husband, Scott and daughters, Jenny and Ashley (Texarkana); step-sister, Tracy Nettles, husband, Bentley and sons Peter and Henry (College Station).

A Graveside Service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park located at 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218 on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 11:30AM with Rev. Dr. Joe Moore of First Presbyterian Church officiating.
