Christopher Paul Chalk, age 72, passed away in San Antonio, Texas on October 25th, 2022, due to complications from Parkinson’s Disease. He was born in Houston, TX on November 10, 1949, to Dr. Dulaney Joe Chalk and Thelma Mangum Chalk. Chris was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother Ross Gregg Chalk. He is survived by his brothers, Dr. Ronald J. Chalk (Camille), The Rev. Michael D. Chalk (Paula), Daniel D. Chalk and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chris grew up in Kerrville, TX and graduated from Tivy High School in 1968. He was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and enjoyed singing in the choir as a young man. He lived in Kerrville until 2019 when he moved to San Antonio to be near his brothers.
His family will have a private funeral in San Antonio at a later date.
