Christopher "Kim" Brien Weixel died Friday, June 28, 2013, after a prolonged illness. He was born in 1951 in Toledo, Ohio and practiced law in San Antonio for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Antonian High School, University of Texas at Austin and St. Mary's Law School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Francis X. and Mrs. Bernardine M. Weixel, in 2001.
He leaves behind his sister, Joan Hardy and her husband George, of Elgin, Texas; brother, Creighton Weixel of Goshen, Indiana; sister, Melissa Schumer and her husband Barry, of Charlotte, North Carolina; and, brother, Jay Weixel, of Elgin, Texas; and his former wife, Mary Ella McBrearty, who has remained a steadfast friend. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Greg Guzley and Dr. Gordon Willey for their years of care.
