Christy Annette McDonough

Christina Christy Annette McDonough was born on October 13, 1976 in San Antonio, Texas. At a tender age of 28, she was tragically taken from us. Christy received her pair of wings from God along with her loving dog Shorty to be his special angels to watch over her family and friends. Christy graduated from Bandera High School in Bandera, Texas in 1995. She was a very energetic person that glowed with life. Her passion was to cook for her friends and family and her love of people showed in her care and positive way she lived her life. Christy always brought love and excitement wherever she was. She learned this from her mother, Debbie Windham who provided a home full of love for Christy, her sister Marie and brother Robert.

She loved spending Thanksgiving and Christmas day with her family. She will join her grandfather, Damon Lee of Pipe Creek in heaven to watch over her survivors. Christy is survived by her mother, Debbie and her husband Bruce Windham of San Antonio; her loving brother, Robert of San Antonio; her compassionate sister, Barbara Marie Dupnik and her daughter Alisa of Pipe Creek. Christy was Alisa's affectionate and devoted aunt; her granny and domino partner, Clara Lee of Pipe Creek; also her Uncle Scott and wife Gigi, their children, Jasmine and Joseph, and her supportive Aunt Diane and her son Michael from Pipe Creek; fiancé, Bryan Vehle of San Antonio, numerous family members and close friends.

We all feel blessed that Christy was in our family and in our lives. We will miss her deeply and never forget the love and memories we shared.
