Clinton Richard Copeland

He was an Air Force veteran-serving from November 1968-November 1972 and receiving The Republic of Vietnam Service Metal, The National Defense Service Metal, The Marksmanship Metal and the Good Conduct Metal.

Since 2002 he enjoyed working as a volunteer "Ranch Hand" on the Freeman Ranch near San Marcos, TX with ranch manager J. P. Bach.

Clinton was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Lyons Edkins of Tampa, Fl.; his father, J.E. Copeland of San Antonio, TX.

He is survived by son, Aaron Copeland of Tampa, Fl; sister, Cheryl Ann Ferlita of Tampa, Fl; brother, Dennis J. Copeland and wife Karol of Brownsville, TX and step-mother, Doris Lewis Copeland of San Antonio, TX; and niece Shea Ferlita of Minneapolis, MN Clinton will be missed as a father, a brother and a friend.

He will be remembered for his smile and engaging laugh during good times and the love and concern he gave to others.

The family extends a special Thank You to Dr. Vroni Hetherley of the VA-for her many years of care and concern for Clinton. The Americare Hospice Service for their understanding and help during his time of need, and to Donna Loder LVN for her care and friendship shown to Clinton.
