Consuelo P. Hernandez

Consuelo "Chelo"/"Connie" P. Hernandez, born on June 19, 1941 went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death and welcomed into the Celestial Throne by her husband Alberto G. Hernandez, and her in-laws Raymundo C. Hernandez and Galdina Garcia. She is survived by her daughter Roxanna P. Hernandez, and sisters Maria, Manuela, Teresa, Leticia, Socorro, and Maria Guadalupe.

She was a breast cancer survivor for 26 years. She worked at the Hilton Palacio Del Rio for 22 years until her retirement in 2006. During the services for Mrs. Hernandez, the family requests that those attending wear clothing attire with colors of aquamarine and turquoise in her memory.

A Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Procession will depart the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday February 5, 2015 for a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Divine Providence Catholic Church, 5667 Old Pearsall Road, with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Consuelo "Chelo"/"Connie" P. Hernández, nacida el 19 de Junio de 1941, falleció el 16 de Enero en San Antonio, Texas y fue recibida en el Trono Celestial, así como su esposo Alberto G. Hernández, y sus suegros el Sr. Raymundo C. Hernández y Galdina García. Le sobreviven su hija Roxanna P. Hernández, y sus hermanas María, Manuela, Teresa, Leticia, Socorro y María Guadalupe.

Fue sobreviviente de cáncer de seno por 26 años. Trabajo en Hilton Palacio Del Rio por 22 años hasta su retiro en el 2006. Durante los servicios de la Señora Hernández, se pide a los asistentes usar vestimentas con tonos de turquesa y aguamarina en su memoria.

El velorio se llevara a cabo el miércoles 4 de febrero del 2015 de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. en Treviño Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd., con un Rosario recitado a las7 p.m. esa misma noche. Una procesión partirá de la funeraria el jueves 5 de febrero del 2015 a las 10:30 a.m. para una Misa de Resurrección a las 11 a.m. en la Iglesia de Divina Providencia, 5667 Old Pearsall Road, con el sepelio llevándose a cabo en el Cementerio Nacional Fort Sam Houston.
