Cora Lee Groff

Our faithful mother won victory in her death. She gave cancer a good fight until the very end. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, John and Cora Sittre, husband Herman Groff, and sisters Corrine Blackman and Rosie Hans. Surviving her are her sisters Mac Haass, Grace Klump, and Johnniemae Quinn; her children Karl Becker (Brenda Mares), Barry Groff (Tammy), Jimmy Groff (Cindy Callaway), and Barbaree Amestoy (Manuel); her grandchildren Katie, Marianne, Cody, Robert, Colby, and Joshua; and her great-grandchildren JR, Julius, and Jaleena.

She loved playing and watching baseball, especially the Texas Rangers. She loved to cook and bake cakes - her chicken dumplings and potato salad will be missed. She loved to dance and work in her yard. Especially at Christmas time, decorating everything. But most of all, she loved her family and friends.

The visitation will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 6-8 pm on Sunday, December 13. The Rosary will be at 9:30am followed by a 10am Mass at St. Anthony Mary Claret on Monday, December 14 followed by burial at Zion Lutheran Church on Leslie Rd.
