

When Courtney was three her family moved to San Antonio, TX, where they now reside. Courtney attended all 12 years in the Alamo Heights school district, where she participated in Special Olympics and the high school choir.
In the summer of 2003 Courtney began attending C.A.M.P. Camp, a camp devoted to children with special needs. She found much happiness in the 7 terms she attended and this past summer won "Best Smile." Courtney's joyful spirit won hearts of everyone that knew her including teachers, students, nurses, and doctors.
Those that loved her have seen her change the lives and attitudes of everyone around her. Anyone who was lucky enough to have known her could attest to her beautiful, constant, and contagious smile. She lit up the room anytime she entered. Courtney will be missed beyond words, and will forever remain in the hearts of those that loved her.
Courtney was preceded in death by her grandfather, "Papa" Sam McGill in 2007 and her, Uncle Sidney McGill in 2008.
Survivors include her parents, Sandra and Chuck Wright of San Antonio, two sisters, Charli Wright of Dallas and Khaki Wright of Austin; grandparents include, Dorothy McGill of Wellington and Wire and Jean Wright of Canyon; aunts and Uncles include, Jan and David Hodges of Amarillo, Jack and Kim Wright of Canyon, and Suzie Wright of Canyon; cousins include: Sherri McGill, Preston, Patrick, and Austin Hodges, Beau, Chase, and Tori Wright.
